Kosovo Tour (8 days /7 nights)

Kosovo Tour

Kosovo Trip | Local Encountres

This Kosovo trip focuses on local, authentic experiences in the unknown Balkan destination of Kosovo. Overnight stays in homestays with local Kosovars, good food in local agrotourismo restaurants, hiking through the mountains with the hosts of your guesthouse and encounters with Kosovar craftsmen and their traditional works. Several tastings are included in your program and you travel in comfort with private transportation and English-speaking guide.

Through the personal contact and the local character of this trip, you will experience Kosovo in a 'real' way and with your arrival you will contribute to the preservation of old local cultures and crafts. Moreover, these small-scale introductions to local Kosovars are the best and most fun way to get to know and understand each other and each other's world. And that positive involvement with each other - no matter how different and how far apart - is one of the best reasons for us to travel.

During the trip there is plenty of opportunity to experience the intriguing cultural history and natural beauty of Kosovo. The country with a very turbulent history is home to an eclectic mix of influences. It has a Mediterranean atmosphere (even though Kosovo has no coast), UNESCO-listed Orthodox monuments, Ottoman mansions, Islamic schools and elegant mosques. The country is surrounded by high mountain ranges that provide spectacular scenes such as waterfalls, farmers with herds in the hill landscapes and snow-covered cliffs.

Of course, this trip can be completely tailor-made to your wishes! If you prefer to drive yourself, that is also possible. Ask about the additional costs and options.
